Het Oog in de Naald/The Eye in the Needle

A collaboration between composer Albert van Veenendaal & visual artist/writer Monique Besten.

The Eye in the Needle explores what it means to be human in today’s world. With songs, spoken word, poetry and improvisation, stories are being told that shed a new light on the challenges we are facing.

Inspired by the texts, new music was composed and performed by an ensemble of 4 musicians in concert venues in the Netherlands. In 2023 the CD with the same title was produced. More info about the project HERE
